Mission

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Manager to join our new company in Guernsey, Channel Islands. If you want to play a key role at the heart of the site management team, ensuring materials, equipment and people move efficiently and safely through the project lifecycle, we want to hear from you!

 

Your main duties:

  • Develop and implement the logistics plan for the site in coordination with the Production (Project Lead and Package Managers) and Procurement teams
  • Manage all site logistics operations: deliveries, material handling, waste management, temporary works, traffic management and plant movement
  • Supervise operatives on site such as Traffic Marshall, Delivery Coordinators, Forklift drivers and any other roles
  • Act as the point of contact between site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, local authorities and third-party logistics providers
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, permits, and site logistics
  • Support management of emergency access routes, fire safety routes and evacuation plans
  • Manage customs clearance for materials and equipment imported from outside the Island

Profile

You have proven experience as a Logistics Manager in the construction industry or any relevant industry.
