Are you a skilled Project Manager with a passion for delivering successful construction projects?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing and dynamic team in Guernsey, Channel Islands. If you have a proven track record in managing construction projects, leading teams, and delivering results on time and within budget, and if you want to have a real impact, we want to hear from you!
Your main duties:
- Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are achieved.
- Lead and coordinate internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or delays, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Profile
Your profile:
You have proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry. You have already completed few projects from start to finish.
Your assets?
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and contracts.
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Appetite for learning and gaining experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field (preferred).
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent, First Aid, and relevant CSCS card.
