Mission

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Works Package Manager to join our new company in Guernsey, Channel Islands. If you have a proven track record in managing construction projects, leading teams, and delivering results on time and within budget, and if you want to have a real impact, we want to hear from you!

 

Your main duties:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Oversee and manage site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers, maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues, and report to senior management.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, site procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment to ensure timely availability for site activities.
  • Manage the budget for site operations, minimizing costs while maintaining quality.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project status.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues or delays, proposing and implementing corrective actions.

Profil

Your profile: 

You have proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in the construction industry. You have already completed few projects from the beginning to the completion.


Your strengths?

  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and contracts.
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Appetite for learning and gaining experience
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field (preferred).
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent, First Aid, and relevant CSCS card.
